I just talked to the guy from tiny tach to find out what size lines we have so i could order one. He told me if i could wait a couple of weeks, that they are releasing a new diesel tach that has a back light and a flash memory instead of the internal battery. That means no battery to go dead!!!! I thought that was really cool of him to let me know. he said they would be around 85$, up 20$ from the current price. Right now if you order one with back light its 40$ more!!! They said its so high right now because they have to hand build them with the back light. So if anybody is thinking of buying one soon I would wait for the new one. I think it will be a really cool new tach!! Just thought ya'll would want to know.

Ok, definatly will let u know. He said the lines on my 92' should be 1/4 inch.
I also liked the idea of the tach having a hourmeter because my odo has not worked since i have had the truck, so i can do my service schedule by the hours like farm equipment!

Sweet!! i will be all over that. The back light was the only reason i haven't gotten one before.

 

What size are they?

 

If the new ones match the size of the one I bought last April(non back lit), it will be about 1 inch by two inches.

 

The website said 1.5" by 3".

 

I got my tiny tach yesterday! and got it installed. it really went smooth. works good too. and very accurate. i highly recommend them. i will get some pics up this weekend.
