New Pyro, and boost gauge

Well I got the new gauges in tonight. I think they are working pretty good.

Egt' at 55mph were right at 700

Boost went to about 15 when I romped on it, but dropped to close to zero when just cruising.

Let me know what #'s I should be looking at with the mod's in my sig.

Thanks, Tony

is 15 lbs the most you got out of it? Should have been more than that? I thought stock was 18lbs of boost? Im running 28lbs and i have less mods than you do

Agreed. My truck is pretty much stock and I and lay on it and get 18-19.
Did you just give it a quick romp or did you lay all the way into it through all the gears?

Numbers look ok. T/C could be loose enough that you aren't fully loading the CTD so you won't see loads of boost.

Talking

I have another thread about my 3200 rpm spring. If you look at that you would understand why maybe. I had to go in this morning and move the little pump piece that has the hash marks? clock wise one tooth. I did that and now the thing runs like a scalded dog. I have not floored it yet, but when I romp on it I'm hitting about 22 to 23 boost The egt's are then about 900.
Here is the link

P.S. Look out corvettes

So where did you mount the EGT sensor? Pre-turbo or post-turbo?

Pre turbo. I finally pushed it to where I got up to 1000 egt's, and 25 boost.

I can't believe what a difference there is in this truck.

Later, Tony
