I was wondering if anyone here has or has tried the new Magnaflow muffler for diesels. I am thinking about installing a 4" muffler on my stock pipe and then finish it out with a 5" tip. Has anyone done this? Is this a good muffler? s

 

It's a **** good muffler!.. And it sounds like a "stright thru" DYNAMAX...Nice sound You'll be Happy with it.

 

I have the magnaflow on mine. It's a good sounding muffler. It will sound too quiet at first but after about a week it starts sounding better... don't know why.
Of course I had a turn down tip on it at first and went to the slash tip... sounds better with the slash.

 

Dont know much about that muffler, but i just put my 4" straight exhaust on without one and it sure sounds sweet! Sounds like a mack truck, but not really too loud. I guess the turbo is now my muffler and im lovin it. Honestly i was thinking it would be like driving a harley around noise wise, but its not bad at all.

O and the S.O.P feeling has greatly increased as well as the nimbleness of the truck.
