Finally able to get the exhaust clear from dumping under the cab. As of yesterday (Saturday), I no longer get a foot massage while driving . But the big difference is cab noise. It's very, very quiet inside. I can only hear the engine now. I think I'll end up buying a 4"-5" straight or angle cut tip rather than the turn-down tip. But the turn-down tip may help put the smoke on the ground rather than out where it can cover the wheel. I'll drive a while and see if it powdercoats (or soot-coats) my wheel. I removed the 2 sections after and including the downpipe, hung them in my backyard and coated them with VHT black. I bought 2 cans and sprayed everything until they were completely empty.





And lastly, I painted the intake tube to match my valve covers. Good ol' Hemi orange!

 

looks good. i drove my truck with just a downpipe a few times. once to work, luckily i had ear plugs and i did use them.

That does look good! I painted my manifold and turbo housing on my last two turbos with that flat black VHT header paint and its held up a lot better then i thought it would. I like your silver/aluminum color manifold better though, thats what i want to do with mine.
