Need your help on painting my truck etc

I'm getting ready to paint my truck. I may have to do it a section at a time as my back holds out but now I'm trying to decide what colors to use. It is a single color now, a dark blue green metallic color. I like the looks of the two tone paint jobs but I want to keep the green and don't know what to use with it. I've been looking at galleries but a lot of people dont have pictures (including me) For those of you who have two tone trucks can you post a picture for me.
Also has anyone removed the turbo emblems or mouldings from the fenders, are they glued on ?
The trucks with the stripes above the color change, are the stripes painted or decals?
Thanks for the help, I

I will get a pic of mine posted as soon as I figure it out again.

The emblems and mouldings are held on with double sided tape, they can be carefully pried off,or "sawed" off using a piece of piano wire or mig wire worked behind them in a sawing motion.Try not to bend the mouldings when removing them or they will loose their shape and they won't be reusable. The fender flares are held on with a combination of screws and double sided tape.

I did the bodywork on my truck a few years ago, I removed all the emblems and mouldings and fender flares. I like the smooth look on it now.

The mouldings and emblems are just double sided tape, you can lift a corner with a screwdriver and pull them off. The wheel flares are screwed on, but you will have a couple of holes to weld up and smooth out.
The LE emblem on the cab corner and the piece of moulding below it are screwed on from the inside, holes to weld up here also.
I'd post a pic of my truck but my digital camera is broke.
Another nice touch would be a regular chrome bumber from an ealier
year truck that doesn't have that black plastic cover thing on the top.

The molding on the front fender by the head light is held on with screws and if it's an extra cab the pice behind the door is screwed on.

DJ Check out my photo gallery I have tan on the bottom. I am going to get mine repainted soon. I am going with the green again and the tan part will be line-xed. I am going to take off the trim. The line-x should leave a nice line.

I also see that you live in San Francisco there is a dyno in Sacramento on the 16 are you interested in going?

RBJenn are you going to the dyno? I see you live there. I want to see some First gen's there I dont want to be the only one.

Stomp, my truck dosn't run good enough to bother putting it on a dyno and besides it is apart right now getting ready to paint the front. The line X sounds interesting, you can get it in colors now and it should hold up to gravel roads good. Seems like someone said Line X was about 600 bucks to do a bed.

fearthedeere, I don't think you could match John Deere green in metallic but it sounds good to me. I'm too conservative to put it on mine though. I'm going to start by painting the green then go from there.
