Need source for moulded carpet

Actually I am looking for a heavy duty rubber or vinyl, moulded to fit replacement for my old stinky carpet. BESIDES JC WHITNEY, does anyone have any good sources for this? Any other recommendations?

Thought you said molded carpeting. My fixed cowl crack is not so fixed anymore judging by the rain that is getting in. The carpet by the place where the dimmer switches used to be is really moldy now. Maybe we have the same problem. I love my cheap old chebby because I could use the pressure washer to give it that newish look.

At the hot rod shop we use Auto Custom Carpets for alot of customers custom interiors, but we buy material by the yard. We've done side-job and friends more modern cars & trucks with molded carpets from ACC and they fit great.

I bought my '96 F250 the other day and it has nice gray carpet, but I'm going to insulate the entire cab with Lizard Skin Ceramic Insulation and replacing the carpet with a molded vinyl piece from ACC so I don't destroy it. Retail is about $195 for the molded vinyl, not sure on the cost of a molded carpet.

I guess I put moulded so that nobody would think I had a moldy carpet. Guess that didn't work...

Great link - exactly what I was looking for - thanks guys.

...............it was nice just to hose out the floor . SCTV made those hoser clips in town here. I watched them all the time. Then it seemed they were on TV all day, everyday. For a week I saw a skit they did called The Jim and Tammy show. I quit watching TV when I found out that the Jim and Tammy show was not an SCTV parody.

That's what I'm thinking. Does it make the cab a lot noisier? I wonder if it will make my stereo sound "tinny".

Stereo? You can hear your stereo? Seriously, I don't think it will matter.

sounds like you need weather stripping! my 90 gas truck that i had before this 91 diesel made so much noise form the wing window that you couldn't have a coversation at 70 mph!

I think I just need a straight pipe on the old Volvo. My old truck seems a lot like yours. A slight fault in the vent window or door adjustment and it does get noisier. I just took off the roof rack and that got rid of a low pitched thrumming. Nope, Cummins did not waste a lot of time making the 5.9 real quiet and I don't either. It makes listening to audio books on long trips a lot tougher but you can't have everything.

If it has good padding it won't be any louder.
