Need a little help with the top of injector pump.

So my buddy resealed the fuel pin and throttle shaft but is having problems putting it all back together. I have pulled the top apart a few times but i cant figure out why it wont go back together and run right. While looking at some pics i noticed there is a difference between ours and the one in the pics on this site. Here is a pic of ours versus what we have founfd on this site. If this is wrong how do we adjust it.

Pics of our pump

You have the manual kill lever clocked in the wrong position.

There is no way that lever moved by itself correct? My buddy swears he did nothing to it but i don't see how it could move by itself. I will adjust it and put it all back together. I was afraid to mess with anything not knowing exactly what it was.

If you didnt touch it the shutdown lever, it should be okay, unless it didnt work previously.

Take the fuel screw out and the top should drop right back on.

It could be catching on that fuel screw but it looks to me like the manual shut down lever is in the wrong spot

Do both...take the nut off reclock the manual shut down and pull the fuel screw but make sure you measure, or count the turns to put it back in right, i know the fuel screw will cause it to hang up if not removed or the lever pulled forward.
