I just installed some of the Bilstien 33-185569 on the rear of my stock/OEM '93 W250 rear. They have more than enough length in extension, but they are substantially long compressed, compared to those I removed. Seems like they're perhaps 4" shy of being fully compressed as installed. It's kind of worrisome to me.
I used some 33-185590 for the front.
All in all, they are an improvement.

Thanks, i am fighting with Essex distributors who spec'ed the shocks for me, they don't want to take them back. I think i have them convinced to exchange provided the ones i send back are in re-sellable condition.
I am going through there website and checking the collapsed \extended specs off bilsteins site and things don't add up very well.

hey guys, any suggestions on me slamming my 1st gen dodge? lol, theres a lot of low rider trucks here in east texas, i've just never seen a 1st gen d250 lowered, i think it'd be cool, with a single 8 inch stack maybe, murdered out? few power boosting mods, switch my auto with a 5 speed, detroit locker, ideas?

So as to avoid confusion, start a thread of your own.
That way you can get suggestions and information best suited to your truck.

Its alive!!!! Finally got it out for the first test drive, did well. Only have front wheel drive and a foot of fresh snow so hard to tell much but everything works pretty good. Dropping it off to have the rear shaft shortened tomorrow. Need to tweak the crossover a touch to straighten the wheel.
I can hit 10psi messing around town fairly easy, can hear the turbo too!!!
Once i have dry streets i can test the max boost, see if my modded wastegate is holding or not.
Still waiting on rear shocks................
