It works out to 2'' total lift i think. I still used the factory 3'' block in the back. I am going to wait for the springs to settle some and then re-evaluate.

My rear shock C-C is 24'' at ride height.

Ya the place i ordered mine from show different, hence the problem.

I do want to send a big thanks out to Bill at Alcan spring for sending the replacement main leafs at no charge to me.

I am not so sure i can say the same about Essex distributors yet, they are saying they cannot take back the shock i mounted as its not ''new'' anymore, even after they told me to order them and that they would work.

There is still hope for them though, i am sending in pics of the shocks shape and still have the original box so we will see what they do for me.

P.S. they are more than happy to take my money for the proper shocks, imagine that.

Is it just me or do good companies not exist anymore? Does no one test stuff before they try and sell it?

Ok my rant is over...for now.

Question for ya on the diamond eye with the he351, what did you have to do to mate the downpipe to the 351? Doesent the 351 have a 4 inch outlet instead of 3?

Nice! That's simple enough. I have been studying the 351 now for a bit and am thinking I want one! I have a hx 35 now with a 12cm housing but my egts get a little high. I no the 351 has a 9cm housing but I would think with the 4inch outlet the egts would go down. What did it take to mount yours? Adapters? Did you have to re clock it?

Re-clocked (which also means tacking the wastegate closed), and the new exhaust flange is all. I did have to drill out 2 stud holes on the turbo flange (just need to make the existing hole larger) so i could use my existing studs in the manifold. Also had to back the manifold studs out 1/4'' or so to be long enough to get enough bite with the stud nuts.

Biggest fight is the IC tube, its a bit of an angle using straight pipe, a bent pipe would be best.

All pretty minor and apparent when you go to mount it, easy enough.

Ok good to no, also I have seen a couple for sale that they just say that there a 351 it does not say what there are after that. I have noticed some of them have a plug with a few wires. Did yours have this or is that a newer 07 and up turbo with the variable vain stuff on it

The 351cw has a solenoid yes, you need to buy a plug for it.

It Runs!!!! Have a bunch of wiring to do yet and a few odds and ends but it runs!

Free revving it makes 2psi boost at 2000rpm, not sure if anyone can comment if that sounds about right or not with a 351cw?

It will be a week or so before i can actually drive it yet.
