Nice work there T-cows!.
I really like the repurposed futon frame used as fireplace fencing wall.

Your grandfathers stove is probably pretty old? My stove is brand new and the design and clearances it is engineered for are pretty tight...8" from each wall on a corner setting like I did, I set mine at 9 inches to be safe. My old stove, that my father bought back in 84, that I had planned on using had 36" clearance on any wall unless you did a cement board wall spaced off the wall with ceramic 1" spacers, then it was only 12" or so, but since the old stove would not pass EPA inspection or qualifications I could not use it.

They were good stoves! I've had two and still have the long skinny one (can't remember which size that is?). Have a Vermont Castings "Vigilant" in the living room now for days when the OWB isn't fired up.
Those modern stove clearances are amazing, hard to believe compared to the oldies. Makes placement a lot easier.

I'm thinking that everyone's rig is perfectly modified, running beautifully, all construction is complete, passed all inspections and everyone knows everything about these trucks, maybe we should just shut this down?...Mark

Local box store was having a sale on insulation, was cheaper for the R24 then R20 or R22, so picked up 40 bundles of R24 for the walls of the shop. They only had 17 in stock so grabbed them first....
Week later the other 23 came in so hooked to the trailer and picked them up.
I've got a contractor lined up for all the drywall work, and another lined up for the blow in insulation, hope to have that all done in a the next 4-6 weeks?
