motor mount differences

motor mount differences

Hi, i was just wondering if there is a difference between 93 2wd and 4x4 motor mounts? if it matters they are both automatics. i had to use the motor mounts out of the 2wd because myne are shot and now i cant get the motor to line up. is there any difference?

When I did the swap on my truck to diesel I used the mounts off of a 93 and put the motor into a 1985 and everything lined up I also went from 2x to 4x and didnt see any difference .

ok, well is there any way to tell which motor mount is for the drivers and passengers side?

They are ambidextrous. Just make sure to line up the little notches when you install them. See BC847's thread on replacing motor mounts.
