more radiator and P/s intercooler questions
ok so im trying to get a new readiator by this weekend the best idid so far was 250 with exchange brand new. im going to my dads and im wondering if its a 2 day weekend job. i would assume it is. i was also pondering some evil to go in as well.........a powerstroke intercooelr to be exact. i found one a mile down the road at a truck junk yard for 100 bucks. i was wondering if the this and the rad can be done in 2 days. what other materials would i need. i cant put the truck down for more than 2 days because its my everyday driver to and from work. my plan is to hood the rad up and hopefully intercooler and just let the intercooler sit in there boted up ready to go until i get the piping intake horn etc... is it do able?? tell me anything you know my ears are wide open. also today on the way home from work my truck just barely touched the first bar on the coolent temp gauge. good or bad?
thanks nick

I'd do it. Good idea to put the PSD intercooler in there and leave it unhooked (and capped/ duct taped) til you get *2ndGEN* (3") piping, and intake horn. That way, you can leave your intake plate alone, and miss your brake master cylinder, and it will all flow well.
Try Performance Radiator. I got a IC radiator for $140, NEW, no core required. G/F's shop deals with them all the time. This was 2 years ago, so prices may be slightly higher by now, but shouldnt be more than $180.
