More a/c questions
Do you guys replace the actuator diaphragms as a maintenance item? Those under the dash which control the flaps.
Is the vacuum controller switch reliable? Heater control valve?
Mines a 1991.5 inter-cooled model- I thought there was just a suction line and a discharge line...
Is there a separate line between the condenser and expansion valve. I thought the 2 lines were 0ne-piece like the suction line??

Nope.
Mostly. If yours fails they are dime-a-dozen in the junkyard. The coolant valve is another story. That's actually a variable orifice flow restrictor that is supposed to keep coolant in the heater core longer so you get better heat, as well as being a shutoff valve. I haven't seen a leaky one yet.
I'm not sure what you're asking on the A/C lines.
