Despite the fact it's not doing anything at present (fuel-limited boost condition), I went ahead and finished off my turbo upgrade by installing the manual boost controller. The wastegate sensor was sitting right adjacent to the turbo outlet, so I drilled and tapped the elbow just below it. This allowed the MBC to be connected with two 3" pieces of tubing for a clean, convenient, easily accessible mount:

Now I can add fuel (injectors!) at will.
