manifold porting

Anyone got pics of where to do the most grinding?I'm going to try a 16cm housing and thought I would do some grinding while it's apart.

porting the exhaust housing? does this help with turbo lag?

swank, you've got mail (pm)
pwr1, I'm gonna port the manifold and gasket match it and the turbo housing. The 16 cm housing is what spools up the turbo quicker.

So a 16mm housing non-wg is better than a 14mm wg? Sorry to ask, Im really new to this stuff.

Yes, got them ok, I think I will lay in some from the outside edge of the gasket line, I'm not looking for absolute most power, just good strong tow truck. While tranny is out getting new sychros I will be doing kdp and 16 cm housing, I'd go 14 but I just got the exhaust done and don't want to mess with the new downpipe.
