The dually rear is wider. You would need one of those Arrowcraft conversion sets, but I wouldn't trust that to do anything but hold an extra set if tires for pictures.

Dually rears also have much larger inner wheel bearings.

a dually rearend is 60 inches from the inside of the break backing plate to the other, like Faith said you can go with an arrowcraft spacers, but it's not a good idea to be hauling alot of weight on that setup, it can and has been done but i believe it's a problem wating to happen.

the weight raiting is almost 1,000 lbs more than a D70 SRW.

you need the spacers so the inside dual will clear the springs.

i believe the person that told you you had a 1 ton rearend was misinformed or was just going by the fact that they were both D70's, as i also was preaching that my rear was the same as a 1 ton, untill i got one and dismantled them both side by side and saw all the diffefences.

A lot of the gas trucks had tall gear ratios so be careful what ratio it is. Try to spin a wheel and see if the one on the other side spins the same way or the opposite. If they spin the same way it is posi.
