M&H... M2 or M3 for daily driver
Im going to order the dynamic timing device and a fuel pin and was hoping for some input.. i would guess that the 4 and 5 pin are a little excessive for a DD? How smokey is the 2 and 3 pin versus the stock? Controllable? Noticeable performance gains with the pin/spacer combo?
Most people don't know it but you can grind a stock pin for a custom ramp and still have full afc travel/fueling that will be seen with an aftermarket like Dennyt or m&h

I ran the M3 in my original pump. I had the starwheel run up to flush with the threads on the bushing and ran the stiffest spring I could find at a fuel injection shop. Which, ultimately, still isn't much stiffer than the original. I don't know at what pressure the pin starts to move but it's probably around 10psi. And with the Super 40/35, boost came on fairly quick but what smoke I did see before it spooled, cleaned up well. It's all in how you tune the AFC.
I would say it was a mild amount of smoke for a manual but I could control it with my right foot. Under light acceleration I hardly saw much smoke. I had enough on stand-by for those times when anybody wanted to follow me a little too close.
