Love the beast
I can't imagine my life without my Dodge. Sure it has a big hole in the floor, speedo comes and goes, check engine light comes on all the time, it shakes and rattles, rides like it has cement shocks, paint has gone south even where there aren't dents, bed is coming apart, and sometimes won't shut off, and half the time it makes me want to cuss, but I love it anyway. Right now its radiator is in the garage because I just couldn't let a BMW X5 M Diesel beat me and the engine rotated enough to hit my electric fan and jamb it into the radiator cutting three tubes.
409K miles, lots of smiles.

I think you have to be a chronic tinkerer to like these trucks

It would help to be rich... and younger. The beating I get from this dude is brutal after a while. I gotta figure out how to make it ride better without spending a bunch of money I don't have!

If I were rich, I would have the same vehicles, but a much nicer place to work on them. I think that 50,000 square foot houses are silly, but a 50,000 square foot garage, that is something else. I would also own every single car that I have ever wanted in my life, starting with a 1967 427 Shelby AC Cobra, a real one not a repro...Mark

Why stop at 50,000 though? The boss had 120,000 built 4 years ago and we've run out of room in it. Of course in the space it takes to park 3 Steigers you can park about 7 1/2 Dodges.

If a bag-o-cash dropped in my lap, I would rebuild by 4BT and stick it in my 1941 Dodge WC Military. I would install hidden Vintage Aire A/C and hidden sound equipment. It would have one black stack up the back of the CAB.

If you make your ceiling high enough (and I would have to, to fit the stuff I want), you can build a small loft to park some cars under and put an apartment on the loft, and be set.

Mark, that is kind of a simple request for a bag of cash. You'd at least gold plate the steering wheel, wouldn't you?...Mark

I would drive my military every day for work. I would also restore my '93 to pristine condition, but with nasty mods. Then there is my 1969 Dart GT. Been slowly working on a 440, but I would shove that in a corner and get another 426 Hemi (used to have a Hemi Road Runner) and make that Dart scrape the back with all four wheels off the ground!
