Looking for info on intercooled engine
So i bought some parts for my truck today from freightliner. i thought i had bought the intake foran intercooled engine that goes on the inake of the truck, not the turbo. but it ends up i got the part for the turbo. would anyone with an early intercooled engine know what the part # is for the intake side of the engine or if willing, would you PM me with an engine number to order one? thanks any help is appreciated. and how can i post a pic on here to show exactly what im talking about?

Im not sure about a part number, but I have one laying in my shop that I will never use
I installed a second gen air inlet tube on mine and went to a bigger aftercooler and piping.
That stock first gen unit is quite small but if you needed it I have one.
I have all the piping too. I did sell the aftercooler though.

Did that stuff come off of an intercooled truck? because i have the housing for the non intercooled trucks and i was told that the housing of the early intercooled engines had a 3 in intake horn. So i am interested if you want to PM me that would be great.

just looked at one today and im giong to get it. and i am now on a first name basis with the freightliner guys near me. they are a heck of alot better to deal with than cummins. i was there for 30 min or so because they were trying to find the part i need, and since i didnt have vin number it was hard to fin. but they did it.
