Long term use of Water/Meth

I am considering installing Water/Meth (Snow and Coolingmist) on my rig and am wondering about the long term use of it. I have read where they advertise that it is great for towing. I am curious if this had any negative effects on the motor and how long it can survive. I am also wondering for those of you who have it what size the tank is on these and how often it needs to be refilled. Most of my tows will be in excess of 150 miles and I dont want to have to stop mid trip to refill.

I haven't blown mine up (yet). Most of the kits give you a laughably tiny 1/2 gallon tank. That's good for about 30 seconds of play time on my truck.

When towing you want to run a milder mix (20% meth is good) and you can't spray as much due to the lower methanol content, so it's not quite that bad. Also, the controllers that are designed for towing use spray based on EGT, so you won't be spraying every time you make a certain amount of boost. I'd want at least a 5 gallon tank though.

I think it cleans everything in the engine. After spraying and then running without it on, my truck seems to run better.
I'm just running windshield washer fluid right now and a 6 gallon tank lasts around 500 miles.

a few drops of water through a running engine will clean out a quite a bit of carbon build up inside. i don't believe it can hurt. just like wanna said, egt's stay in control. i'd recommend it if you were towing all the time, racing (drags) or sled pulling in order to keep the egt's reasonable. even a set up on a daily driver wouldn't be a bad thing. it'd just add to the already fun of driving these rigs.

I think W/M might be one of the few mods that really has no downside at all as long as you set it up right and don't try running too much.
