Lifting Dually Bed

Finally get to start my project.
93 W350 that's going to become a flatbed.
I am thinking of using eyebolts thru the corner stake pockets with a plate underneath to spread the load.
Im guessing the weight at 1200lbs but would value real numbers. I figue to use a chainfall on it and build a gantry.
Thank you all for your information and ideas.

I would guess WAY less than 1200#. I have removed 8 ft SRW beds with 3 other guys, using the each guy grabs a corner style.
I bet it is closer to 400# - 500# tops, as it was more ungainly than heavy.

A gantry crane and a bunch of straps from corner pocket to corner pocket should be enough.

Now the flatbed, that is another story, as those can be pretty heavy depending on how they are built.

My 91.5 SRW bed without the tailgate was about 350 lbs.

I just built a flat bed for my srw truck. My neighbor and I removed the stock bed by ourselves. A third person would have been nice though.
