Lift pump install

Looks pretty straight forward but have never done one on this truck. Any tips? Looks like some guys replace the 2 bolts with studs and say it is much easier to mount up. Not sure on that. Looks like I will just need to open the bleed screw, pump the lever and purge air after install. Any other words of experience from those that have done this. BTW, I am installing a new Carter/Federal Mogul stock pump from Napa

I am glad I read your write up as I didn't think about those 2 sealing washers for the bango bolt. I take it that I should not be reusing my existing ones even though I am not changing to the piston pump with new steel fuel line, correct? With the stock pump type connections, using a thread sealer is required?
