Lift pump?? Cummins or Delphi????
I think it is time to replace my old tired lift pump, Not ready for the walbro conversion yet, I see on Ebay that there are usually the Delphi lift pumps for about $48.00, And sometimes the genuine cummins lift pumps, Usually for about $80.00+ dollars,
Does anyone here have any expirence with the non Cummins part?
Which brand from NAPA ?
I want to order soon!!! Before it is too cold to play comfortably outdoors!
Peter.

I ran a Delphi unit for about a year before switching to the piston pump. Seemed to work fine, made 7 psi at idle. I think usdieselparts.com has them cheaper than the Ebay sites.
I wouldn't just swap lift pumps on a whim. Unless it's leaking, leave it be. The money would be better spent on a fuel pressure gauge so you can see how feeble the diaphragm pump really is. That would motivate you to get a good fuel supply system on there.

My truck is running a ton better now that I have installed the piston pump. The stock lift pump must have been bad or failing. Just got back from a 450 mile round trip and noticed a huge difference in top end power. Runs so much better.
I bought mine through Cummins, but I dont actually know if they are made by cummins.
