That said look what yo uare being told to do..Crossover steering, different lift parts from different trucks grind here for clearence, and BOX your frame come on who really wants to do that to a DD.

Different strokes for different folks...... :

I drive about 60,000 miles a year, now that's a daily driver

My 315s on alum 16in rims are the same offset as my stockers and much lighter. So the front end is under the same amount of strain or less. But like was said every body has a different take on this.I am very happy with my setup.

I have yet to see a set of skyjacker front springs not sag over time for the diesels. They ride pretty nice but the front is so heavy on our trucks it just doesn't seem to hold it. Just had some custom ones made for my truck 6", would recommend not adding a block in the rear either but get the lift springs. My 5spd likes to make my axle wrap now with all block in the back.

Lift kits are awesome and well worth the money, the truck rides better and looks tougher.....a lot of guys (including myself in the past) just lift them and don't do the nessecary stuff to make the lift work with the rest of the truck, like gear ratio's, beefier drivelines/drivetrain (especially when running big ol' tires) Transmission, crossover steering etc....the truck and lift will work awesome if you do it right....I sugguest doing it right the first time. I haven't in the past and it usually causes headaches in the future. Had a 4 "Skyjacker on my 92, and loved it. Best of luck.
