Let’s talk plowes
Does it matter if one is off of a glass vs diesel truck? After my fresh nv4500 swap and now I have finished my 4x4 swap on the dump truck I found this one 30 min away for 300 bucks it’s off a 86 318 w150 he says it’s a western plow definitely needs some work
Well, without you telling me what runs the motor on the plow you are looking at, I can not just guess correctly.
I am telling you the push plates and plow will fit.
Plows come in electric over hydro, which will work for you as you have a battery to "plug" it in to.
If you want a central hydro pump that runs off the motor, you will need a Cummins specific mount and maybe a pump to use.
If you want to use a PTO to power it, you will need a PTO unit that works on your set up.
Side note:
I have both PTOs and Central Hydro pumps for Cummins motors in stock.
Without you telling me these things, I have to assume you are planing on using an electric over Hydro set up and that is what 80% of people use.

Many 4x4 club cab Cummins trucks I see with over 250,000 miles on them have some cracks starting.
I messaged the guy selling the plow and waiting for him to get back to me it looks like there is a pump that mounts some place and looks like large cables for the battery I would much rather have one that is electric over hydraulic and I would just add a second battery to the truck unless one of the other options would have more “power” than the other, since the motifs still out of the truck currently I believe jungle Jim sells a front frame boxing kit from rcc that I could order to stop or prevent the frame cracking, looking to use it more for at customers houses than mine I do Remodeling and trying to get in and out of the work trailer with a drive way packed with 5-6 in pod snow just makes for a mess tracking it everywhere throughout some ones house
Western Unimount Pro Plow. There were different frames, but the push plates I believe, are all the same. The Pro plow has thicker plow brackets, upright and such.
Been on the truck for years, and works great. Easy to fix, parts are readily available, and even a caveman can rebuild the pump. I have 3 extra pumps in stock at all times should the one on the truck fail during the season.
Biggest problem ? Chinese made motors. DO NOT throw away the OEM Western motor. Have it rebuilt. Cheap chinese knockoffs fail rather quickly.
