Leafs again..
So I put my springs in.. feels like the front end is going to blow out.. is there a procedure? I torqued them to 90ft/lbs and then drove it around and re-torqued. Maybe it's just bad shackles?

With the truck on the ground, loosen all spring eye bolts and bounce on the bumper a few times to be sure everything is moving properly and can settle out to its normal position. Re-torque all spring eye bolts. Be sure to check the u-bolts after some use aswell.
Lifted Spring, or stock height ? Lifted springs change your caster, and can cause "squirrely" handling.
You're over torquing the shackles. They're supposed to be maxed out @ 80 ft lbs. The U-bolts and axle bolts on the passenger side are 90ftlbs, and the front spring eyelets are 100 ft llbs As said in other recent threads, the weight of the vehicle is supposed to be on the springs / axles before final tightening.

Drive it around for a few days then re-torque. U-bolts are designed for an "initial stretch" when installed. All spring manufacturers advise to replace u-bolts after one install, and for the $9 -$15 a piece, it's worth the $$ for peace of mind. There have been situations where other members have had the u-bolts snap after installing them a second time.
Thanks guys, I'll have tighten them on the ground. The springs are parabolic and they ride about the stock height. I need to get rear springs, when I jack the rear up the steering wheel goes back to normal. Must be some pressure on the steering gear.
.... or negative caster. Wheel alignment.
I believe that you can also order a specialized set of king pins that allow offset to correct caster as well.
It's almost never really needed.
