I bought Skyjacker springs for my 1985 W350, it is not a diesel yet just a 360. They have settled to the point that the shackles on the back of the front springs are laying on the frame. I have called Skyjacker and sent them pictures, they are not standing behind their product. They were installed for less than a year when I initially contacted them. At one time I think they made a quality product, I'll never buy from them again.
A member on this forum recommended ESPO springs, (I forget who it was) I will probably order a set of their springs later this year, front and back - get this Skyjacker crap off my truck. I haven't got a price from them, they are probably spendy...sometimes you just have to spend the money.
This is just my experience and .02 - I'm sure other members have had good luck with Skyjacker.

I called my local spring shop and can add 2 leafs per side for about 60 bucks each leaf, if i do it myself. Last fall I put Timbrens on the front and they actually gave me about 1 1/2 inch lift but the springs still sag. The first set of timbrens they sent were the standard duty and they smushed flat as soon as i dropped the jack. Then they sent me the highest rating set they carried, claiming good for 1500-2000 # per side, and they still flattened out but not like the first ones..
Try http://www.nationalsprings.com/. I've never used them personally but have heard a lot of good things from others who have.

They basically are suspension travel stops on the dodge because of the diesel weight. With a 990 pound plow on the front I drop about 1 1/2 inches with the timbrens. Overall they do the job but since they ride on the springs loaded all the time, the ride can be rough at times. Going to try to get some extra leafs in the front to bring it up some and get it off the timbrens.....
I've heard nothing but good things about these guys.

I have a few friends that are running Alcan springs in their off road rigs.
