The Ksb hot wired gives it more fuel and more advance. It ups the pump head pressure from what I understand. If you put it on a switch use it to start as if it were a choke, have it on till warm or turn it off right after start up.

On the IC motors the ksb is activated by power from the IP, unlike the non-IC where it is powered constantly and activated by loss of power...in either case, while activated, it increases case pressure in order to increase internal advance during warm-up (as far as my understanding goes) and over-enthusiastic use is not recommended

12 v only when needed. (cold start or drag/dyno) Off at all other times. There is a thermal switch in the back of the head that controls it automaticaly but a manual switch works well also. The power for the switch does come from the IP shut down solinoid but any 12v keyed source will work.

okay thanks, i just put a switch in it since i used all the non intercooled wireing on the intercooled engine, so i dont think there is anything telling it to turn off.
