He says to tell you guys that the meet is definitely going to be JUNE 9th.

A map should soon be available.

Bring plenty to eat and drink.

Some poor old hog will possibly lose his life for your dining pleasure.

Also, bring plenty of swap-meet goodies.

would someone please post an address as soon a possible. i'm leaving on the 8th and need to figure out where i'm going. i guess mapquest will get me to flemingsburg and i'll just look for the smoke .

I just got off the phone with Travis. The address for the KY 1st Gen meet is:

4797 Energy Rd.
Flemingsburg, KY 41041

While I had him on the line, I punched the address into Rand McNally's site and confirmed with him that the closest intersection is correct and their map makes sense. Go to http://www.randmcnally.com for directions and you will get there.

He also wanted me to mention that the location is a freshly mowed hay field, so conditions will be basic. Bring whatever you need to be comfortable (lawn chairs, portable sunshade, etc.) Also bring a cooler of your beverage of choice and a side dish/dessert - the main course will be a roasted pig.

Show up any time after 8 AM, the pig ought to be ready for visitors by 1 PM.

 

That's good news, I was getting a little worried because I am leaving Florida on Tuesday and was not sure if I would have internet service on the road.
