Decided to keep the 1st gen, it runs so good and i really like it, the practical part of me convinced myself i dont need 500hp. Anyways, thanks for the feedback on "where to go from here." Im open for suggestions on what to do next for mods. I'm thinking a hx35wg and new injectors. The truck doesnt smoke much now and i kind of like that. Howevever, if i could get to around 300hp i think ill be more than happy.

 

You could always just upgrade the compressor wheel of the H1C with a kit from HTT. Should cool off the bigger injectors (which you need) more than a stock HX35.

Cheap/free mods to do: crank pump up more, grind the fuel pin, advance timing.

 

If your goal is 300 HP, I would start with a better turbo design form HTT and then start throwing fuel at it!!

 

Think goodness! Looks like another member for the F.D.L.F.C.T.G. fondation. Remember the member ship is free. We have punch and pie at all meets, an talk badly about gas engines as well as v8 diesel.

 

HTT Stage 4 and some more fuel, piston lift pump and clutch and you should be good to go.
