Ok, what is this KDP I,m hearing about, and is it something I need to worry about?

 

That would be the ol Killer Dowel Pin, go to Tech Facts and learn about it.

Well shoot, looks a bit to technical for me. Has anybody had a professional fix this, and if so, how much?

I've got a KDP jig and have done 5 first gen's I'm in Portland - we can probably set up a time to do yours. If we do it at your place you will need a source for air other than that I've got everything we will need. If you want to do it at my place I've got air. Just let me know.
