Hahahahaha I do the same. Decibels went up to anywhere from 95 to over 100 depending on the song.

94 could also be your mic's limit. Could be higher.

I discussed earlier a great solution. Do a search... I used lead and Military 8802 spec adhesive/sealant. makes a HUGE difference. That plus some floor insulation, rear panel damped with lead- and wow.

i did a similar test, saw 88-92 consistently at 65 mph driving down the highway, windows up, radio off, a/c off.

to compare, I went for the same drive in my girlfriends 2013 jetta TDI. stayed in the 60s.

thought to myself, well, any cummins truck is going to be louder than that.

so i then tested it in my old mans 2014 crew cab, high 60s, hit a low 70 on occasion.

I have dynamat on my floor as well as carpet, and a carpeted headliner. but no other insulation

You want heavy (mass) materials to stop sound. Lead is excellent for this. My crew cab is in the high 70's to mid 80's and I still don't have a headliner

What brand dynamat? I was told the chip foose one is the best.
