Injectors... Again....

Hi,
Just got off the phone with my friendly (not so) local fuel injection joint. They wanted 500-800 bucks to rebuild my injectors without pulling them, eg i take my injectors in, they rebuild them and I put them back in for that money.

I said "thanks bye"

Soooo, looking at new ones for less. Same deal as before. Anybody know the hole size on the 5 hole 190s? Are they about the same size as Non IC injectors, or slightly smaller?
Im really torn between the 190s and the pods. Are the PODS really that bad, or can I just play with the IP settings?

I dont really want to get a smaller injector...

Would the PODs like me better if i got the 60mm hx35 upgrade?

Seems to be an aweful lot of people here that like the PODs...

You can set the POD's to be as hot as you want using the power screw. Just a word of warning: turning it up is easy, but it is really hard to back it down.

Drill the divider on the turbine housing. A compressor kit will help a little bit, too.

I have the pod's in my truck with a 60mm (6 blade) HX but I used the factory 18cm and it gets hot but then again I have my pump turned up as far as I can safely take it. Everyone says that they have a haze at idle but I haven't noticed it, not saying that it's not there. I have to drill out the divider and port the 12cm housing because I can hit 45 lbs of boost with no trouble at all. I am very satisfied with them but the egt's are hot and I am going to end up installing the PS intercooler. In my opinion for the money you can't go wrong but if you can afford it go with EDM's, that is what I plan to do once I hit the lottery.
