Injector Question

Hello everyone,
My 92 ram still runs like crap at idle and lately has become very hard to start... I bled it and it still does it every time. I'm thinking my injector pump is bad but when I called a pump shop they figured it may be the injectors cause I've never done anything to them and I'm at 450K on the odometer... Could this be the case? Anybody else have a problem like this? Basically what it does is it starts hard, idles very rough like it's not getting any fuel but I get no smoke whatsoever, at any RPM... It's also sluggish at low RPM but when it gets above a certain RPM it cleans up and runs really nice with normal power... Once it warms up the problem sometimes goes away, other times it stays. Any other ideas what it may be? All my fuel filters are new and clean...
Thanks,
Toby in Pemberton, B.C.

The first thing I would check for is air in the suction lines. Plumb a piece of clear tube into the line before the lift pump and see if you see bubbles.

Yup, clear tube is cheep, and may save you from replacing the inj and then fixing a air leak!!!!
