Injector install ??'s

I got POD injectors today and what are the rubber boots that came with them for? Also i got thenon-i/c spacers so what washers do i use? only the spacer and thick washer?, spacer and thin washer?, or the washer that is already on the injector and spacer? thanks, i have all of the stockers out so i need to get these in ASAP.

I put the injectors in. i took the old ones out by mkaing that tool in the sticky. edit does that tool do a good job. and now all of the injectors are leaking except #2 they seem to be leaking at the head through the plastic retaining nuts. Why they use plastic i dont know but thats where they are leaking. Any suggestions?

Try pulling them out, cleaning the copper washers and the surface where they sit against the head and the injector. My #6 was leaking when I put my EDMs in, so I just cleaned both surfaces well and it sealed up just fine.

I don't know what plastic nut you're talking about.

well i just got dun doing an injector install myself, and what plastic retaining nut are you talking about, unless the pods come with something weird. i know mine , which where from brazil, had metal retainers. you might want to see if the stock ones will fit, also try tightening all the bolts on the injector,(top line, banjo bolt, retainer)

My pods had steel retaining nuts and I think you have to take the top of the injector apart on the pods to get the retaining nut off

Correct me if I'm wrong
