My case is cracked and I can't find a core anywhere. Is there anywhere to buy a rebuilt one? Any suggestions would be awesome. The engine only has 120,000 miles on it. I have put a lot of money into it. I was told the only option is to find a 727 core. Which is tough

 

It is not that tough, as I have two of them sitting in my shop.

put out some want ads on your local craigslist, and if you can post up in the classified sections on the 1st gen boards. The 727's are usually swapped out, so should be a few around to use as a core.
