What did you do to connect the potentiometer wires to the harness plug connector that plugs into the TPS on top of the injection pump? Does it matter if you use aluminum wire or copper wire because I used aluminum wire (about 16 or 18 guage) and I have not been able to get the pontentiometer I installed to work. What I'm thinking the problem is the pins I soldered to the end of each wire doesn't make a connection when I plug each one in to the TPS 3-pin connector. Of course I could just cut that connector off and solder the wires directly together, but I'd like to keep it factory if possible (but do away with the TPS on injection pump).

If you look in the sticky there are part numbers there for pins that you can buy at Radio Shack.
