Talking I did it! Now I can't get enough!

I turned up my smoke screw, turned the fuel pin and turn the AFC wheel 1/4 turn! Man, this truck has more low end power than I need! Now what should I do? I want to keep this a daily driver but also want to take this to the occasional pull. The full power screw is next, and then I was thinkin' maybe the 3200 rpm spring (Cant forget the boost gauge either!). The closet dealer is 45min-1 hour away for the spring. Would it be better to go there and get it or wait awhile an order it online? Your help is gladly accepted.

Also, when I turned the pin and smoke screw per instructions in sticky, my EGTs actually went down about 25*! But when I laid into it, it climbed more quickly then before. Did I do something wrong?? Yes I did make sure the pin was at its deepest point.
What y'all opinion? Money wise, I can buy all the goodies BUT I am a cheepskate. I dont spend it unless if I have to Help me in this arena guys. Thanks,

dieseljon

Definitely do the 3200 RPM spring ASAP. You will wet your pants if just turning the AFC cone made you this happy.

Just wait until you get a few turns on the fuel screw

If you ever want to do some BOMBs or need help, let me know; I'm about 20 minutes west of Clinton. I also have a spare fuel pin we could grind and throw in your truck

It took me 1 1/2 hours this am to do the tuning. How long to do the full power screw? and the spring? With my paycheck this week a boost gauge is a cummins!

The full power screw shouldn't take more than 15 minutes, but the idle will need to be adjusted afterward, and that's a pain. The spring will be a little more complicated, but it's not too bad if everything goes smoothly.

Buy a pyrometer before a boost guage. Your boost isn't that important at this stage but melting down your engine is.

He must have a pyro already if his EGTs went down 25 degrees.

I remember when I turned the full power screw the first time (all that power unleashed, and the cloud of black smoke following me)! Yeah, it was awesome!

How do you guys get to the full power screw? i tried a regular socket, and it did not reach, then i went to a deep socket and it hit the fuel lines, and i can not get to it with a regular wrench? Thanks.

I use a 13mm box wrench on the locknut and a 1/4" drive 6mm socket on the screw.
