If you need to alter the speedometer's calibration for over-sized tires, now's the time to do it (See those little gears).

D92, the Variable Speed Sensor(VSS, the peice that screws onto the Speedo sender and that the electrical connector plugs to) can be got at NAPA for around $40. If your set up requires teh 90 degree gear reducer, that is a dealer only part that will run between $100 and $150 dependign on your application. If you broke the male threaded peice that is actually in the transfer case, that is the "pinion gear retainer" and I happen to have a spare one I'll send ya for nuttin if it will work for your app.

The crank sensor tells the computer that the engine's running so it will charge the battery and run the A/C.

The gap should be 0.050".

Check the wiring for breaks in the insulation.
