Fellas, here is a picture of a real good Baldwin filter assembly I bought at my local TruckPro store. Cost was about 30 dollars. It uses 1/2 inch lines, so it should pose a minimum restriction. The housing is a universal deal, and takes a wide variety of filters so you should be able to choose a filter that you're comfortable running your ATF through. In my case, I used a fuel filter, but Baldwin makes a huge array of filters.

Ace and all, thanks for the info! Bigragu, I called Baldwin in Kearney NE today 11/17, and it appears they will not sell to individuals regarding their bases. So, I will have to locate a distributor. This seems retarded, because they do sell filters online at their website? Their tech service is pretty bad as well. At lest the guy I spoke with at Baldwin didn't seem to know much. I will email Dieselsite.com, and see what they $ quote me for just a Baldwin base and filter.

Here's an eBay item for a filter head I used for my aux fuel feed. It is the same thread as our fuel filters. I'm thinking about using one on the coolant in bypass mode. Probably work fine for trans filtration in bypass mode as well. He has a bunch of them:

Ace,
Thanks a bunch for the Ebay link for the Baldwin fuel filter base. Yeah, you could probably use it for a trans filter. I emailed dieselsite.com, and the owner (can't recall his name) said I will need to call him, and he will get me a price on the Baldwin fitler base.
