hx 35 compressor housing
I just saw an hx35 compressor housing on ebay---would this fit on my h1c? Would I see any benefit with my 16cm exhaust housing? I don't seem to have the bark associated with the 5 speed and the smaller 12cm housing, but wouldn't mind having a silencer ring (to remove ) Also, I'm assuming that any compressor housing can be clocked to line up with the intake on my non intercooled truck-is this correct? Thanks!

The HX-35 compressor is held on with an internal snap ring, the H1C is held together with a band clamp. So no, it won't work. If your EGT's are OK you have nothing to gain from upgrading the compressor. If you want whistle call up HTT, they make bolt-on upgrades for the H1C that'll make it scream. You will have to come up with a way of attaching the compressor outlet to your crossover tube, and you'll have to redo your air intake duct to fit the 4" compressor intake. Not big issues, but stuff you need to be aware of before you get halfway into the project.

Cool, thanks for the replies! Right now, I suppose I should get on building my tranny first If I build both my spare and the one in the truck this week, I could sell one andnthen have more $$ for BOMBS
