this was originally said by Don (rollingcoalsmoke) "believe nothing that you hear and half of what you see"...trust me he is correct - my hx came off a 97 with 96,000 miles- i didnt inspect it too well upon purchasing - the guy said it had no shaft play and when i took a good look at it, it had forward back play - so be sure to inspect it real good and use that as your bargaining chip whether or not you need to rebuild it

it may not have any play at all b.c it only has 60,000 miles but 250 sounds good- id try to get it cheaper though

good luck

Here's what my friend has in his Grand National. I like it because it comes with all the line and he ran it inside into his console, You could put it under the dash or something

No difference, 2000-2002 24 valve trucks did not have an HX35 though. only manual trucks 2000-2002

I'm looking at a 1998 24V manual HX35 and an 02 24V Auto HX35, so the manual is better one?

The boost controller on my truck is off Ebay, the seller is lower shores performance. I'm happy with it even though it looks like it was made out of spare plumbing parts. I set it a couple years ago and it still goes right to 40 psi and stays there until I let off.
