HTT stage 3

Well,I finally got a HX-35.So,I wont be bothering ya'll with as many turbo questions as I was.But I plan on putting on the htt stage 3 kit to make it a 35/40 hybrid with a 16cm. housing. Is this a project I can do myself or should I send it to them? They charge $30-70 to do this. They said you have to make internal turbo modifications.I just dont know if I should do it or let them.Anyone do it your self? Also, how do you like this mod?

I would let them do it... the center housing has to be machined to fit the larger compressor wheel... while they're at it, try to talk them into new bearings and seals for just the cost of parts since the turbo is already going to be apart.

Yup, three for three...let them do it all and you'll have a properly machined/fitted and balanced unit. That alone is worth not only the $$$ but piece of mind when you take it out for the first trip....
