HTT 64/65/13ss vs HTT 62/71/13ss

One will be the top charger on my twin set up. Super dave will sit below..

I know there are a handful of members running the 62/71/13 over the S480. Looking to hear how they perform.

Same applies to the 64/65/13 over the S480.

HP target on #2 800-850,

I am not even close to an expert on twins but from what I have read it seems like the G56 guys can get away with a pretty big turbo on top VS the auto guys???? I have been thinking a 64 with s480 would be sweet!!
I would maybe call MPI and ask the real pro.....
if you do, post up I would like to hear what you find out..
I am wanting about the same HP as you...so I am really interested as well

Like Mark I am no expert but I would THINK that the 64 would make a lil more hp but with the 65mm wheel would have higher drive pressures and may be a lil hotter, but flow more air on the cold side.

If you want that much hp you may just want to get a 64/71/13 or if your not bent on HTT get a silver 64 wich would be 64/74/14. But your best bet will be to talk with Nathan.

Ok, just read your sig, with dual pumps and flux 4.3s I would definately think you would be ok with a 64/71/13 a 480, JMO

nathan will probably say with the manual trans & flux4.3s 64/71/13ss will be the better call for you, like wap said lower drive pressure & wanting to push 850 hp the 64/71/13ss s480 would get you closer.

I was debating on the same issue but because I drive my truck often on the street & I have an auto.

I am going for 750-800 the 62/71/13ss/S480 will be installed next week with nathan i am just shooting for a fun truck to drive not the fastest , but fun!

anyway the HP difference between the 62 vs 64 S480 is only about 50 peak hp in favor of 64
Go For It !...

Well in a week or 2 I will have some hard numbers with a 66/13 over a S480 superdave. John is finishing up on with dual modded cp3 and a set of DonM big sticks.

I am hoping so. I also will be running 2 stages of nitrous. I will see how well the new HTT intercooler will hold!

I'd either go with the 62/71/13 or a 64/71/13. You have a 6spd so I'd lean towards the 64 but you can always upgrade the 62 later if you need to.
