HTT IV? (long ?) sorry

I heard though the grape vine that the stage IV kit for the HC1 is no longer being produced? I tried calling HTT today and go put on hold for a long time, so I hung up. I was planing on doing this to my truck. So if this is true, and I assume it is, lots of guys are sayin it. What is my best option? HX35 or HX40? Also I'm goning to a PS intercooler with 3" pipes and a 24Valve intake. And I was planning on 370's but since I don't tow maybe bigger? I've got some money to play with so all suggestions are much appreciated. Oh yhea what clutch? That is really what I'm going to do first. I know lots say to get relined but here is my thing, I need the truck for work and I go 100+ miles a day. So sending it out isn't really an option for me.

So in sort I need advice on;
Clutch
Turbo (is the Hx35/40 a direct bolt on or do I need to modify downpipe, oil drian, and oil psi line)
Injectors
Anything else that I may need to know, still tryin to learn,
I'm sorry for my ignorance

Thanks in advance

Justin

i think the gain with going stage IV over stage III is not worth the cost, the 60mm upgrade seams to be the best option for an h1c upgrade and with a 5speed i read that a 12cm wg housing works real well if you mod it.

try http://www.gdsdieselparts.com/new_page_2.htm

i got the CH-o5 which is the 60mm for $197 something
p.s there are cheaper than htt

Check out my sig, I have the mods you are questioning. Im running an HX35/12 at the moment b/c the Stage IV/14 is being used in a mock up. I think its a good combination, but the stock hx35 runs about 150 degrees hotter than the stage IV.

That is good news. Mike when you switched to the 35 did it bolt up or were there some mods? Also I'll go a modded 35 do you think I can go bigger than 370's? I was planning on a valet switch also. I can wire it into my pyro, it has a grounded wire when it hits a preset EGT level, I can make it defuel when the EGT's get too hi.

thanks Justin

good deal, I'm looking around for one. I went out for a little drive today and I saw a 92 in the back of a guys house. He wants to sell it, he said he would think about it for a little while and call me. I got the impession he dosen't think it's worth much. I may have a builder on my hands. Well I hope I will.

The GDS Stage IV kit is the same as HTT's, but you have to machine your backing plate. HTT sends you one.
Plus, GDS is about $100 cheaper.

They're still being made, although I think they are having trouble finding good cores.

I can't say enough about how awesome the HTT stage IV is! Turned my truck into a snarling beast (along with the POD's, pump mods, and 3,200 spring).
