You can add me to the list. I am in Apex,NC I am putting in a lower mileage Cummins from a 92 D-250. Will be adding cruise control and putting a dually rear end under it.Will be the only dually/crew/short bed that I know of. I hope to have it back on the road by end of summer. I use it to pull my travel trailer and the wife is bugging me to go camping so I need to git er done!!

I got me one,Cummins with the 5 speed. Exhaust and some little things to finish and down the road I go. Keeping the truck Green X ARMY.

If I had to do it over I would use a clean donor NOT a rust bucket like I did.

 

Just to clarify I have TWO '85 crew cabs.
One I have been driving with the '90 12V under the hood for two years, it is on the road - summers only.
The other, if the 360 ever goes will be "under construction", but for now it is on the road as a gasser.

here is how my 85 crew started around 5 months ago...




after 5 months, the chassis is finished with all the "upgrades." not much longer and the body will be seeing paint!!

coil sprung dana 60 with custom 3-link and subframe, all brackets are cnc plasma cut.
Dana 80 rear
1995 170hp 12v with nv4500
35" nitto terra grapplers with weld chrome wheels

 

as in a cow tormentor verses a cow with a seizure...
