I'm at the .5 to .75 stage right now. I hope to complete it this year. I will NEVER do another one to the extent of this one should I decide to do another. Parts are very difficult to locate and shipping kills most of the other options. The next one will be a GM diesel 4 door to a Cummins conversion where I can get on the internet and order replacement body parts online!

This is what I'm starting out with. It's going from a 2WD to 4WD SRW short bed.

Mine is sitting in the yard waiting for it's cab to be removed, repaired, re-painted Rescue Green, and set onto my '93 Club Cab 4x4 frame.
This cab:

Will be replacing this one, and I'll be running a short deck instead of a box:

IF and when time allows......I'm still toying with the idea of selling the crew just 'cause time is soo hard to come by.

If I could find a nice "DRY" crew, I'd do it in a minute. Well it would take me at least 3 months.

Here's mine. Nice rust free truck originally from Texas. 22+ feet long, long box SRW. It's a big beast to maneuver about town....

I'm eventually building up an '82 D350 short bed that's sitting in the backyard.

I already threw a utiline bed (stepside) on. I'm going to swap to '80 and below fenders and front doors, swap in the '79 dual stacked headlamps grille and headlight buckets (and core support), paint the whole thing bright red, install wood on the sides of the bed, install chrome exhaust stacks, and name it "Big Red Express"...

Needless to say this'll take awhile. It won't get painted until everything to do with the engine swap and installation of AC (it's a non-AC truck but I have a dealer-installed evaporator box) is finished. That, and I have the '78 Cordoba to finish first.
