How to fit 4" exhaust between the cross member and t-case?

So I bought a Flo-Pro 4" exhaust and went to install it the other day. The downpipe fit pretty well but I don't see any way on God's green earth that the 4" pipe will fit between the transfer case and the cross member without pounding the snot out of it. The 3" pipe that came out had been pounded on in that area. My ORD twin stick bracket is also in the way but I can modify that.

The problem is that I can't beat the end of the pipe section out of round to fit it through because it has to fit with the downpipe.

For you guys with 4" exhaust: How did you do it?

my diamond eye fit, but it's snug. takes some finesse to make sure it's not rubbing on anything when you're done

To add to the brand fitment report, an MBRP 4" downpipe fit on mine as well.

I did have to loosen the support bracket from the tranny & tweak it a bit.

What turbo/housing are you running MrFusion?

Same here it took a while to get mine to fit.

I just put an HX35 with a 14cm WG housing on.

I've got to notch out the ORD twin stick bracket first. The other problem is that the HX35 is an inch longer than the H1C so that messes up the location of the down pipe. I thought I had it solved but due to the curve of the pipe if I cut an inch out of the top of the down pipe it will raise up the bottom of the down pipe and be out of alignment with the pipe thru the cross member.

Lots of guys remove the one angled brace to allow fitment. I haven't heard of any issues resulting from this but I've never done it

I built mine from scratch out of 4" SS. It was a real PITA! Not much clearance, but you have to be a bit creative like others have said. A dent here, a hanger there..

Same here.

I will suggest using the 4" removable band clamps, vs the guillotine clamps. This will allow you to readjust anything you need to should down the line the pipe touch the cross member, and vibrate the passenger to death. OF course, if it's your wife that's sitting above, maybe you'd keep the clearance issue problem, just to "annoy" her.

That will cause some issues. I am going to do the same thing maybe the downpipe needs to be trimmed some as the wastegated housing is longer.
In other words the whole system from the rear to the piece that goes around thr transfer case needs to move forwards. and +1 for the band clamps. I wouldn't do it without them.

No trimming needed with that combination.

Bolts on with enough clearance around firewall & transfer case.

I have to trim mine or the first bend will hit the transfer case.

Thanks for all the responses. I'll probably mess with it some this weekend. I chose the FloPro kit because it came with the band clamps instead of the U clamps. I figured it would be easier to adjust or repair than the u clamps.
