How to drain water seperator on a 92 Cummins

Hey everyone, I have a friend that has a 92 with a Cummins. He just had work done on it and when he got it back the water in fuel light came on. I was curious to how i would drain the water seperator and where it was located.

thanks,
Justin

The water separator is on the bottom of the fuel filter. Just push up on the plunger with the truck turned off and the water will dribble out, when you get fuel coming out release the plunger. It’s on the driver side of the engine just in front of the priming pump.
