How bout some more Heating probs?

Im still having my heat problems, from a while back. Stays cool at low speed. Low 60 mph speeds Im fine. Get around 70, and they shoot up fast. My dad, who has never dealt with turned up diesels, thinks my problem is my mods. I doubt that, cause the problem is new, and mods are 2+yrs old. However, could it be my 3sp. tranny getting warm at these temps and causing the engine to warm up?

Check the lower radiator hose by squeezing it. Make sure the spring keeps it from collapsing. At high RPM's the water pump can suck water faster than it can flow through the radiator and the vacuum will collapse the hose cutting off the flow.
